Solid stay with a few bumps

Had a pretty good stay, location's super close to the train station and nice for getting around. The room was decent, just needed a little more space, ya know? Breakfast was solid too! A slight letdown was the slow service at the bistro. it took forever for food to come out, but we managed. enjoyable.

The spacious guest rooms feature multiple pillow options, allowing for a comfortable night's rest. there's easy access to the train station, making travel to nearby cities quick and convenient.

Despite the room's spaciousness, I found the furnishings to be somewhat aged. The lack of basic amenities like a fridge and kettle was a letdown, and I discovered a distinct odor in the room that was likely from past guests' smoking. Housekeeping fell short. my room wasn't thoroughly cleaned, with bits of hair left behind, making me question their attention to detail. I encountered interruptions from unexpected plumbing noises, which further disrupted my peace during the stay. Lastly, the room's Wi-Fi connection was inconsistent, making it challenging to get work done when needed.

The breakfast spread was a culinary dream, with items that left my taste buds dancing. And just a stroll away, I found Sultana, where the regional flavors made for an unforgettable dining experience!

On the flip side, the room lacked basics like a kettle or mini bar—just a bed and a bit of furniture, really. Plus, with only one socket by the TV, charging devices got a bit chaotic!

The hotel features a lovely vintage bar that provided a cozy atmosphere, and I appreciated the warm welcome from the staff. Its proximity to the train station was incredibly convenient for my travels as a senior.

Improved accessibility features for seniors would be beneficial.

The Radisson Blu offers a fantastic breakfast, loaded with fresh options that start your day right. I loved the quality and variety available, making it one of the best hotel breakfasts I've had. The hotel's location is a major win too. it’s just a short walk to the train station, so getting around was super easy. I enjoyed my room, but it did feel a bit outdated. There was only one electricity socket near the TV, making it tricky for two people to charge devices at the same time. I also noticed the lack of tea and coffee facilities in the room, which I usually expect in hotels. The air conditioning setup seemed to be from another era, not very effective at keeping the room at a comfortable temperature. It felt cold on check-in, and the control system definitely needs an upgrade. The reception staff were generally friendly, but I ran into issues when wanting to dine at the hotel. Both restaurants were booked for private events that evening since I had hoped to enjoy a meal there without having to venture out. Despite these hiccups, I liked having the option of a smoking area right outside, which was very handy. the stay had its ups and downs, but the breakfast was a highlight, and the convenience of the location can’t be beat.

The room had broken glass, yet the minibar was completely empty.
